The End Of An Era !! The Rainkings are sad to announce that, after 10 years of playing together, the band is retiring. Due to various outside commitments of the band members the Rainkings announce that we are splitting up in April 2005. Whether or not the split is permanent remains to be seen, there will undoubtedly be the odd 'fun reunion' gig but for all intents and purposes we will not be playing as a 'local band' for the foreseeable future. We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has ever been to a gig or bought our cd's and extra special thanks go out to all our regular followers - without all of you it just wouldn't have been the same!! The gig guide has been updated to show the last few gigs, the last being at The Beacon Court, Gillingham on April 2nd. Those of you who know or have followed the band will know that the bands very first gig was at The Beacon almost exactly 10 years ago to the day so we thought it fitting that it should be our last performance. We hope to see every one of you at one of our last gigs and ALL of you at the Beacon on the 2nd and finally, Thank you all for your support over the last 10 years
